As a rotator operator for close to 10 years in New England myself, I can say, its nice to have a call every once in a while that still gets all the juices flowing! Excellent job that most operators would have waited for a second truck. You knew your truck and what it was capable of.

7:38 Why didn't you lot simply reposition the container BACK until it was centralised over the lead axle above the rear end of the trailer, so that there wasn't anywhere near as much of a fulcrum twist excerted onto the frame of the trailer, as that would have allowed the gooseneck area to be "lifted" enough to allow the truck operator, to take the container away at the same time as "moving" his now buggah'ed trailer, slowly - to leave it at a secure yard where they could have simply transhipped it onto a better "normal deck" shorter container trailer. All it would have meant - was for the chains to be loosened enough to "reposition" the container towards the rear of the trailer, to "dump" the load weight, over the rear axles, and NOT so far forward as they did, which was the sole reason the gooseneck bent.

by 20:23 I have so much "motion sickness" from your stupid "Gymbol" mounted head cam, swivelling around as if a cork in a heavy swell away out in the middle of the ocean, that I'm giving up watching this. So with THAT forever moving camera view, I won't be watching any more of your "recovery videos".. Sorry, but I value my right to have "safe viewings" without developing motion sickness, just "watching a video" .. to many others to watch to have to endure this weird stomach churning stuff.

He Should not have had it loaded at the front of the trailer of corse that much is going to bend the gooseneck of the trailer. It should have loaded just over the top of the first axel onto trailer. Totally the drivers & loaders fault .

Followed two trucks out of cali yrs ago,, both were big Pete's with big cats and I couldn't keep up on the grade and when I got yo the bottom, both were in the ditch, amongst the wreckage I saw the crank with pistons/rods still on it layin to one side,, crazy!, I still can't believe it after 40+ yrs

40 ft container a tad big for just that car

I’m shocked that CHP didn’t close the first lane on the other side of the freeway when they were loading the bus onto the trailer. If that bus tipped over while loading, it could have easily landed into oncoming traffic.

Im a hat person through and through and I'd go with the Richardson trucker. Its a superior hat, its no New Era but its def a nice hat.
